Here is a list of all known neighborhood events and activities for 2011. Some of these dates are tentative. Please speak with the Special Projects officer for more details on any of these events.

January 6	Candler Park Brainstorming Idea at Manuel's Tavern at 7 pm
February 1	Fall Fest Planning Party at Manuel's Tavern at 7 pm
March 20	Publix Marathon
March 26	Atlanta Women's 5K in Candler Park at 8 am (register here)
April 15-17	SweetWater 420 Festival Set up in the park is Wed 4/13 - Thurs 4/14. Festival is Fri 4/15 - Sun 4/17. Equipment load out is on Mon 4/18.
April 16	SweetWater 420 5K
April 23	Easter Egg Hunt in Candler Park at 12 noon

April 30	Dressed for Success Power Walk in Candler Park Registration begins at 8:30 am, the walk is from 9 - 10 am
May 21	Hootenanny and Captain Planet Film Festival 4 - 10 pm in Candler Park Join us in the fun and antics of a Hootenanny and stay for the Screen on the Green showing of The Captain Planet Film Festival. 4 - 8 pm Native Plant sale with Eco Addendum. 20% of the plant sale will go towards the Candler Park Nature Trail 7 pm Seed & Feed Marching Band Click here for more information.

Friday, September 30	New Belgium Brewing’s “Clips of Faith” Beer and Film Tour in Candler Park to benefit the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition (more info here).
Saturday, October 1	A Future Not A Past - 7,200 Steps to Stop Demand 5k 300 person race in Candler Park with "rolling road closures" Race starts at Mary Lin Elementary at 8:30 am Register for the race on active.com
Saturday, October 1	NAMI walk in Candler Park 500-800 person walk in Candler Park Check-in at 10 am, start time 11:30 am Register and get more information here.
Sat - Sun October 15-16	Candler Park Fall Fest (See candlerpark.org/fallfest for more information.) Festival -- Sat 10/15 - Sun 10/16 -- Includes Live Bands, Artists' Market, Children's Activities. 5K Road Race -- Sat 10/15 Tour of Homes -- Sun 10/16
