APS Round 2 Maps / Options To Be Released Friday

Reminder: School rezoning options / maps are expected on Friday, Jan 27. They will be posted to the APS web site. The Candler Park education committee is meeting this weekend to craft a response, and this will be vetted by the CPNO board and shared with the neighborhood.

If you care about Candler Park's schools and the future growth of our neighborhood, please attend the APS community meeting THIS MONDAY 1/30 at Jackson High School (801 Glenwood Avenue SE, Atlanta, 30316) at 6:30 pm. This is a very important time for our neighborhood and it's critical that we make our voice heard.

School Redistricting

APS redistricting is a critical issue for Candler Park. Of the two current options, one has Mary Lin Elementary staying K-5 and getting its expansion. The other has no expansion, and has Mary Lin merging with a school in another neighborhood. Get informed & involved!

CPNO Meetings

CPNO meetings are the third Monday of every month (6:30 pm social time, 7 pm meeting start) at the Old Stone Church - 470 Candler Park Drive, across from the golf course.

We love to see new faces! It's a great way to learn what's going on in our 'hood, and to meet neighbors. There's free child care for the kiddies, plus snacks & beverages for grown-ups. Please join us!
