The meeting was called to order at 7:03 pm by Emily Taff, President. The motion to adopt the agenda passed. The motion to approve the March minutes passed.
Old Business:
●Candler Park Conservancy- The motion that Board recommends to approve the reallocation of $50,000 from the ‘active lawn’ project to the ‘playground renovation’ passed. Motion to donate the greater of $25,000, or 80% of net profit from Fall Fest not to exceed $50,000 donated, to the Candler Park Conservancy to support the playground project passed.
●Historic District request- The motion to put before the membership a vote on approving of paying half of first phase ($12K) for (discovery and education) and Membership would pay up to $6K, matching passed.
●FallFest- The motion to appoint Matt Hanson as Chairman and Amy Wheeler as Treasurer of FallFest passed.
Officer Updates:
Treasurer: Amy Wheeler, Treasurer, reported donations for March were $5,000. Discussed renewing D&O Insurance.
Membership: Roger Bakeman reported that 25%of those renewing donated money.
Fundraising: Hallie Meushaw is assisting with FallFest sponsorships.
Safety: Kerry Dobson,Public Safety Officer, is working with Homeless Outreach in Little Five Points. There will be test placement of a porter potty.
External Affairs: Amy Stout reports that the bathrooms at the Pool are now open.
Messenger: Ideas for next issue were discussed.
