Frazer Center Bridge Challenge - Lake Claire Neighbors Seek Your Support

Bridge Graphic 3
People often call us at The Frazer Center asking, "how can I help?"  One such call was recently received from an anonymous supporter who wanted to help the Center move forward with issues that have been raised by our neighbors. After a brief discussion of the issues and possible solutions, a generous offer of $100,000 was made with the stipulation that we challenge our neighbors to help match the gift 2:1.

If we are successful, the resulting $150,000 will allow us to retrofit the 100 year old bridge that currently restricts vehicles over 4 tons from entering the Center from S. Ponce de Leon.  It will also allow for the installation of an electronic gate and a pedestrian gate on the Ridgewood entrance and signage throughout the property.  While not a perfect solution, completion of the project will allow us to immediately re-route large vehicles like delivery trucks, school buses, and emergency vehicles through the front gate.

Several of our immediate neighbors from Lake Claire and Lakeshore Drive have already stepped forward to pledge over $8,000 toward this challenge and they invite their neighbors to join them.  See attachment below to read the letter from these neighbors AND to download a pledge form.
