The sixth annual Publix Georgia Marathon & Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, March 18, 2012. The race will pass through Candler Park and several roads will be closed that morning, including part of McLendon Drive. Road closures include:
North Ave from North Highland to Candler Park Drive, 7:25 - 9:30am
Candler Park Drive from North Ave to McLendon, 7:25 - 9:30am
McLendon Ave from Candler Park Drive to Clifton, 7:30 - 9:45am
Clifton Road from McLendon to Ponce, 7:30 - 9:45am
The marathon also goes through neighborhoods on virtually all sides of us, so expect road closures all morning.
