From Rob Glancy:
All – we have been busy working on this new 10K Road Race for the past few months, and now we are getting close. Here are the details:
The Inaugural Intown Ten is scheduled for Sunday March 4, 2012 at 8am. All proceeds for this race will benefit John Howell Park in Virginia-Highland. The course has been certified by the USATF and will be chip timed, so you can use your time when you submit your Peachtree Road Race application.
You can register at active.com or in store at Phidippedes Ansley Mall. It’s going to be a great race, and it is a faster course than many of the 5ks in the neighborhood. Registrations are streaming in, and we are capping the race at 1,000 runners. There will be no race day registration so register early to assure a number.
As an added bonus, we have one amazing design for the race shirts, which are part of your registration fee. The design will be released on Facebook and at Intownten.com in the coming days.
So, whether you are a serious or casual runner, or if you just want to walk the course, we want to see you on race day. The course and other details are available at Intownten.com
Please feel free to email me with any additional questions or concerns.
Regards,
Rob Glancy
